Apostle Barry J. Henson is a native of Queens NY. At a very young age, it  was apparent that he loved the Lord and there was a calling on his life. Under the Pastorate of Clinton & Sarah Utterbach, at Redeeming Love Christian Center; he received Christ as his Savior at age 11. During youth ministry, under the direction of Ministers Joseph & Marlene Lewis; he received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Drawing closer to God and ministry with a desire to serve Him even more, Barry began to attend Evangel Temple under the late Bishop Frankie L. Evers & Pastor Alice Evers. It was here when he began to learn about holiness and grew even further in the Lord. He started developing his gift of singing under Evangelist Ethel Mann. His gifts certainly made room for him. It afforded him the opportunity sing with various church choirs & groups such as Mark Williams & Chosen Generation, Bishop Jeffrey White & the Soul Stirring Crusade Choir, and Evangelist Celeste Washington & the Youth on the Move Conference Choir. He was the assistant director of the Evangel Temple Mass Choir, director of Brooklyn Technical High School Gospel Choir, director of the Long Island University Refuge Gospel Choir, director and Co-Founder of United for Christ Ministries and director and the founder of the Temple of Praise Youth Choir. His gifting and anointing allowed him to travel abroad, open up and sing for major gospel artists, participate in several album recordings, and several television appearances including Bobby Jones Gospel.  He attended Manhattan Bible Institute at Evangel Temple where he received biblical training. He received certification in Evangelism at the Temple of Praise Learning Center under the leadership of his spiritual father Bishop Jeffrey L. White. As a result of a confirming prophetic word, he accepted his call to ministry and immediately began training at Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship Leadership Institute under the tutelage of Pastors Phillip and Kim Moore where he completed his ministerial training. For over 20 years, Pastor Barry has served faithfully in many capacities of ministry.

On May 21, 2005,  Apostle Barry was licensed as minister of the Gospel at Inner Court Family Worship Center and in June 2013 he was ordained as an Elder in the Lord’s Church by Apostle Harold Williams & Prophetess Jonniece Williams at Shekinah City of Praise where he served as the Executive Administrator and assistant to Apostle Harold & Prophetess Jonniece Williams. He oversaw the ministry of helps and youth ministry at Shekinah City of Praise. On December 7, 2013 he was installed as Pastor of Shekinah City of Praise.

After much prayer and fasting, Pastor Barry was led to launch The Life Center International in April 2014 where he is the Sr. Pastor and Founder and was reaffirmed as an Elder and installed by his Spiritual Father Bishop Jeffrey L. White Greater Temple of Praise International Fellowship where he served faithfully on the executive Board as Secretary. He continued on his journey of faith under the covering of Apostle David Resto Jr. of Kingdom Life International Fellowship of Churches where he served on the Executive Board as Adjutant General.  On December 9, 2018 he was consecrated as an Overseer in the Lord's Church.  In  2022 The Life Center International Worldwide was birthed where Apostle Barry is the Founder & Visionary.  The fellowship consists of churches in Kenya, Pakistan, Jacksonville, FL and Baltimore, MD.  On August 19, 2023 he was affirmed as an Apostle in the Lord's church under the leadership of Apostle Dr. Richelle McMillan Walking In Dominion Fellowship.  Apostle Barry understands global expansion and outreach. His mandate is to bridge the gap between culture, race & generations for the cause of Christ.  He is married to the love of his life Prophetess Felicea Henson who works beside him in ministry and serves as the Executive Pastor of the Life Center International.  He is aware that the Lord has blessed him and caused him to to touch many peoples lives as well as many people has bless his life.  To God be the glory for all of the things He has done in His life.  His mantra " A minister is simply a servant"  and lives by Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not to thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge Him, He will direct thy paths"

Apostle Felicea Henson a native of Jacksonville, Florida, a servant of the Lord Most High, it was evident that Felicea had a destiny to fulfill in the Lord.  For as early as she can remember, she attended Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church with her loving grandmother and served on the Children’s Usher Board.  It was there, that she began her journey in Christ. In her preteen years she learned the power of prayer. Oftentimes, she spent countless hours in the church kitchen with the church mothers and began to receive life lessons and nuggets from them.  Prophetess Felicea continued to serve the Lord and attended several other churches while she was in Jacksonville.

          In her twenties, Prophetess Felicea had a Damascus Road experience where God told her that she had to make a decision to completely follow Him.  From that day forward, her life would never be the same.  She has served under great ministries as she grew in the Lord, and is ever grateful for the leaders she has come across in her travels that have nurtured and cultivated her spiritual development; Pastors Gerald Johnson Sr & Patricia Johnson, City of Refuge COGIC Oceanside, CA & Pastor Neil & Lady Diana Achaempong, Covenant Family Chapel, Frederick MD.  Pastor Felicea currently serves at The Life Center International, in Hagerstown MD under her husband Apostle Barry J. Henson.  She is the President of Divine Women of Purpose and Executive Pastor of the church.  Prophetess Felicea is the founder of Igniting Hearts Ministries, where her passion and compassion for people extend well beyond the four walls of the church.  She is an author, teacher and a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science & Nursing and works for the Washington County Health Dept. Prophetess Felicea is a board certified Christian Counselor through the National Association of Christian Counselors.

She is a devoted mother of five beautiful children and a grandmother of five.  She understands the importance of hearing the voice of God and moving when He says move.  Her model scripture is Isaiah 40:31”But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint”.
